MANILA, June 18 (PNA) – President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo issued yesterday Executive Order (EO) 811 allocating P18.4 billion for the salary increase of some 1.2 million state workers starting July 1.
The allocation will be taken from the Miscellaneous Personnel Benefits Fund of the General Appropriations Act of 2009.
The President signed the EO before she left for a nine-day trip that will take her to Tokyo in Japan, and Brasilia, Suape and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Read more. . .
